Questions and Faq for Seapointe Village:
1. Do I need to bring linens for the beds? It depends on the home your rent. Some do not supply linens while others do. You may need to wash/dry/fold and put away
the sheets for those that do. Make sure you know the rules of that home prior to renting if important to you.
2. Are pets allowed? Only the owner is allowed to bring a pet. Guests are not allowed per the association to bring a pet EVEN IF THE HOMEOWNER ALLOWS IT. There are instances where that happened and the guest was asked to leave or board their pet.
3. Do guests of a home have access to all the amenities? YES. Each home has a set number of badges for use at the pools and beach, tennis court, etc. Please be sure to wear yours as you may be asked for them.
4. If I book directly with the owner, should I be asked for tax? NO. You only pay tax if you use a 3rd party site that collects the payment for the homeowner (except for a realtor).
5. What should I bring with me as far as cleaning supplies? Most homes do not supply items like toilet paper, paper towels, dw detergent, dish detergent, etc. They may supply some to start with but it may not be enough for the time you are there. Be sure to check with the homeowner as to what they leave for you.
6. How many tags does the home supply? Each size home gets a set amount of tags by the association.
One bedroom: 4 tags
One bedroom and Den: 5 tags
Two bedrooms: 6 tags
Three bedroom and up: 8 tags
7. Where is the home I rented located within the Seapointe Village community?

8. Why should you book direct versus going through VRBO or AIRBNB?
In NJ, there is no tax if you book direct. There is approximately a 14% tax if you use VRBO or AIRBNB. Also both VRBO and AIRBNB will charge the guest a booking fee (service fee) that can range from 10-15%. The two charges can add up to A LOT!! Suppose the rental is $4000.
You would pay approximately $1000-$1200 more or that rental than if you rented directly from the owner.
9. Is parking free?
Yes parking is free unless you bring extra cars. Each size home gets a certain number of parking spaces. The oceanfront buildings (North Beach, South Beach, Pinnacle) as well as the Centre Court and Garden building have parking under the buildings. Parking is not assigned. Vehicles without a parking tag may be ticketed or towed so find out how you get a parking tag from your host.
One Bedroom: one space
One Bedroom and Den: one space
Two Bedrooms: one space
Three Bedrooms and up: 2 spaces
10. Why Seapointe Village is so Popular?

Every year the homes get fully booked with many repeat guests that come back year after year. The resort is well sought after so book your rental early to be sure you can get what you want/need.
